Question

I'm looking for a great lip plumper and I was looking at the buxom lip plumper and was wondering if the results are permanent?

Are the results from the lip gloss permanent or do I have to keep reapplying through out the day?

It's not surgery, so the results aren't permanent; however I do find this gloss really does plump my lips. It seems to leave my lips plumped for hours afterwards. Of course like any product, it's going to have to be reapplied throughout the day anyway as you eat, drink, etc. Buxom glosses and BE glosses are all that I use now and if you haven't tried a Buxom yet, do it. You'll fall in love and want one in every color!

no its not permanent. and the pluming isnt super overpowering its more of a cool minty feel.

This Buxom stuff is about all I ever use on my lips anymore. The plumping isn't permanent though. I personally think it plumps them more if you apply, wait a few minutes, blot and then apply a second coat. Also, if you live in a state other than roasting AZ or it is winter you don't have to re-apply it as often. They don't look plumped just because of color either, they look plumped even if you use clear.

There's a mini-kit available at Sephora online right now (July 2012) with an April & Michelle duo.

Michelle was part of the Buxom City Slickers, a 8piece kit of Buxom glosses & Buxom lip sticks. Right now it is not available however BE sometimes releases the minis in large size tubes. Check Sephora in a few months, they may release it.

What happened to Ginger????It was my all time favorite shade of Buxom. I have been hooked on Buxom for years and it's all I use. I need Ginger!

Is there any way to buy it???? How can we know in advance when shades will be discontinued, so that we can buy them up before they are gone?

Try the "last chance" section on this site, it's under the shop menu. I found "roxy" there which was my favorite & for years, I didn't even know they had made it in a big size or even still had some period--yet there it was in "last chance". I used to also like "banana" for layering but, alas they did not have it there.

You can't really know in advance if something will discontinue so, if you like it, get another & don't crack it open til the original one is empty. I also, put it in a ziplock in the fridge for fresheness but, that's probably not really required unless you live in a hot state.

Lola is available in the "Last Chance" section. There are 2 different Lola listings, the second one says that there are some still in stock. Better hurry! :)

Gabby is still available! :) Buxom is only sold at Sephora now, so go to one of their stores or their website and you'll find Gabby in the lineup there.
