Questions & Answers for bareMinerals Precision Face Brush

Question

Can this be used with original (loose) bareMinerals foundation?

I'm looking for medium to full coverage and I don't like the Kabuki brush. Could this be used instead? I haven't switched to ready foundation yet.

Yes, it is better than the kabuki brush. It is easy to work with and the results are great ( even with your regular foundation). Just don't pick up too much loose mineral foundation.

I know it is "recommended" for the READY foundation, but I use it for the MATTE foundation, and it works EXCELLENT! In matter of fact, I would prefer this brush to the other brushes BE has put on the market. The bristles on this brush doe not break and it feels like silk when applying the makeup to you face

Yes it can, I've used it on loose powder foundation for both original and matte and it applies it amazingly. Just swirl the amount you would like, tap and cover on until your desired coverage. It has worked for me and I'm pretty sure it will for you as well.

I use it with my matte loose minerals MORE than I use it with my Ready foundation. However, I use a tap and long stroke method rather than the original swirl, tap, buff method.

The Full Flawless Face brush is too bulky. The Flawles Face brush is better. Personally the Handy Buki works great when doing the swirl tap and buff method with loose powder. Think of how big the jar size really is. If your brush is so big that you can't swirl tap and buff, its not the right brush because you can't get all of your product into the brush which means you end up swirling tapping and buffing more than you would like to. The Soft Focus Face Brush is good if you want light coverage. The Heavenly Face Brush is super soft just like its mini me, the Heavenly Blush Brush. Try the Flawless Face and Heavenly and see how those work for you. Handy Buki is good too, but since the buki brush is not your favorite, let that be your last resort.

All the brushes can be used with all the foundations. I have yet to try this with my original foundation but I love the coverage it provides with the READY. Another great medium to full coverage brush (and my personal fave) is the heavenly face brush.
