the green and gold are shimmer
the auburn and beige are matte

I use the mossy green in the outer corners and outer crease with gold on the lid
I use the beige as the allover base, and the auburn in the crease and inner corner

Inside every product box there's a little slip that gives tips and instructions. Specifically the Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 has diagrams showing where to put each eye color for achieving two different looks.

I use the matte beige as allover base
the auburn in the inner corner and crease
