I went to Sephora's and purchased a standard 2 size sharpener that works relatively good with this liner. I have learned not to twist the liner more than 3-4 twists so that I retain as much product as possible. If you are looking for a fine tip to this liner, you will not maintain a fine tip due to the softness of the pencil.

You use a normal eye liner sharpener. I bought one just from Target and it works great but i was confused at first too because i thought it was plastic.

I had several that did not work. I asked a lady at a BE boutique. She recommended one from Sephora. There is one that is cheaper-don't get it. The one I bought was about 5 dollars and it does work -sort of. It was colored in different colors and had only one hole. I think the big key it has to be really good quality. I freeze them for an hour or two before to get a sharper point. They are very soft. But, the plus is it stays all day after you get it on.

How do you twist the pencil to get more eyeliner

You use a normal eyeliner pencil. It's not plastic and doesn't twist to give more product (i thought it was a twist too).
