answer 1
This mascara is for the advanced makeup wearer. It is radically different than the traditional mascaras out there. It takes patience and skill to get this to work. Once you master it, the results are amazing. I would suggest a traditional mascara to start her out and then move on to the more advanced stuff.

You apply this mascara like one with bristles on it. You dip it into the container and then apply it from the root of the lash to the ends of your lash. I like this mascara because it's quick and easy. For a full face, it takes me 15 mins or less.

This is a great choice. I love the applicator because you don't feel like you have a huge brush in your hand trying to get it up next to your eyes. It is so easy to apply you will be wanting to steal it back from your little sister.

What I love about this mascara is the natural look it gives my lashes with one coat. It is very easy to use, once you get over the fact that it is brushless! I think it would be perfect for someone just starting to wear makeup, since she hasn't been "conditioned" to use a brushed mascara. The fact that it is very natural looking would make it very age appropriate. BTW- If you want to try it yourself, apply two or three coats for more impact like Big Tease!

I would highly recommend going with the Flawless Definition Mascara for your sister. :) In the picture, it appears to be completely brushless, but there are very short bristles that separate the lashes beautifully. No clumping, and it's not a volumizing mascara. If I were picking any mascara for someone looking for a more natural look, this would be the one. It defines each and every lash, and coats them with just enough to make the eye pop. She will love it. :)

The wand has small grooves on it, so when you put it against your lashline, it grabs the lashes. Very easy to apply, just wiggle up through lashes. I would think it's very age appropriate. Hope this helped.
