If you want to go more in depth, do your own research by searching for information online about every single ingredient.

I've seen reviews that mention an odor, but it's not strong or overwhelming. Some customers may have a nose for picking up scents and smells stronger than others. You can perform your faux tan in a well ventilated area if this is the case.

Usually when you search a product on the BE website, you click on "learn more" and on the next page, you should see a description of the product, then (if its a brush), what te brush bristles are made out of and you scroll down just a bit and will inform you no chemicals parabens or fillers have been used and further down the page there is a list of ingredients the product has. Sometimes if you zoom into the picture, if it has that feature for the picture itself, you may be able to see a clear view of the size. If you don't know how big a size is, check online to see if you can search for a comparison or get a ball park of what sizes are so that you know what sizes work best for you.

I'm not sure, but since the faux tan is in a bottle I would assume this is in a creme form. I would try a bronzer if you're not sure about the face area. Search YouTube for the faux tan tutorial presented by Leslie Blodgett. If all else fails, customer service is an excellent resource and has helped me with foundation color, bronzer, what radiance color I should use and even what kind of brushes I could use for bronzed. Very informative help.

Do a search on YouTube for Jessica Foust of Bare Escentuals. She does a demo on a woman with the Sunless Tanner. It's pretty impressive to see it in action.

Usually one of the faux tan products should come with one I would imagine, but I looked thru the Internet too and could only find something similar but bigger it looked and possibly more expensive, by bare escentuals, but was on a different website. Don't confuse a Buki Body Brush with a faux tan brush. The buki body brush is a big brush that allows you to apply the foundation not just to your face, but your neck, shoulders and décolleté. I would contact customer service to see which of the faux tan products comes with the brush. It's even shown on the BE website in an advertisement, but I couldn't find the brush either. Good luck!

Yes. Bare Minerals/Escentuals is makeup for the face. This type of makeup has been developed since the late 70s, which I didn't know until I saw a bare minerals show on television when they spoke briefly of its origin. MdFormulations is for your face and can be for your body too if you choose. Becoming familiar with the BE website is great and I often use it as a tool when I need help. Go to the top of the homepage where it says Skincare then click on Hand and Body Care. You will see a list of products there. Submit your facial picture with no makeup on to Customer Service if you REALLY can't tell what your foundation color should be. For a long time I thought I was Medium Deep when really I was Golden Dark!! Huge difference. Foundation Finder is helpful too.
