I say YES. I have hot flashes like crazy and this minimizes your pores and hold to your skin beautifully. The active soil complex is a winner for me. I would recommend the NIGHT TEATMENT,it really helped me reduce the oiliness of my skin.

Definitely it has the same effects as the mineral powder but just looks like a nice foundation on your skin, I also have oily skin but this helps my face to look flawless!

Question

What is the texture of the Ready Foundation like?

I know this product is still farely new, and I do not know of anyone that has tried it yet. I was wondering if it is more like a cream foundation or if it is similar to the loose minerals? I have tried creamy foundation b efore, and it always looks caked on and fake. I love how the loose minerals look so natural, and most people cannot even tell I am wearing make-up. It looks like it would give better coverage, but I do not want too much so it looks fake. If anyone has tried this, will you let me know what it is like and how you like it? Thank you!!

I agree with Beth1017 and Anonymous. It is not creamy, but definitely goes on smoother. It is like a smooth powder. This foundation, in my opinion, gives better coverage than the loose powder foundations. If you tap the brush just a couple of times on the new Ready foundation, it looks amazing. It doesn't look fake. You should try it! Hope you like it as much as me!

It goes on creamier but is NOT a cream foundation. It has a light silky feel and gives great coverage as well. No cakiness or lines. It is described as more hydrating.

Hi there! I received this foundation in a package a week ago and I just have to tell you how amazing this foundation is. Its coverage and texture can be customized according to your liking, whether sheer or full. It all depends on the way you apply it onto your skin. This foundation comes in a compact and it's basically loose minerals but once you put it on your skin, you get this very natural look and it is definitely not creamy at all. You really should try this foundation!

Question

Is the new foundation appropriate for oily or combination skin types?

The loose powder foundation works very well for me, but I would love the convenience of a compact.

I would say yes, absolutely. I have combination skin which tends to get oilier at certain times of the month *ahem*, and the Ready Foundation actually seems to work better on my skin than the original or matte loose powders! I'm not sure what they changed in the formula for this to happen, but I love it! My makeup stays put longer without touch-ups, and I don't get that afternoon t-zone shine anymore! I bought the Ready Touch-Up Veil as well, but I haven't found myself needing it often at all.

I have very oily skin so I asked the boutique rep about it and she said she does too and found no issues with Ready. So I tried it and have been wearing it for almost a week. I find that I'm having much less oil breakthrough and that I'm not having it as early in the day. I think you'll love Ready for your oily skin even better than the original or matte formulas. My skin looks and feels great and as always with BE I do not feel like I am wearing foundation on my skin. Have gotten lots of random comments from friends the past few days about how great my skin looks or how I just look 'so pretty today'. Try it and don't worry about the oily skin. This is so so great for it! :)

No. It is cold-pressed with borrage oil which is great for your skin. Contrary to popular belief, oily skin still needs to be hydrated. Often, people with oily skin don't hydrate so the skin OVER produces oil because that's all it can create. It's your job to give it the hydration it needs. So defenitaly moisturize and give this foundation a try. It may be just what your skin is craving. :)

Question

When the ingredients say May contain does that mean it is an actual ingredient or that it may contain traces of those ingredients because it's made in

a facility that uses those ingredients? I've been waiting for you to come out with a solid for years because I've spilled mine so many times but I can no longer wear your original since I'm allergic to the bismuth oxychloride and sensitive to mica so I use the matte version without problems and hope this one will be just as good! thank you for your help.

I don't know the exact answer to your question but I can tell you that I had some sensitivity to the original formula at times (in the heat) and I too had no problems with the matte formula. I got the Ready last week and have been wearing it with NO issues whatsoever, even in the heat. I am in LOVE with this awesome new formula!!!

When something says may contain it means that in the facility where they make this product they also make another certain ingredient so they have to say that it may contain traces of ... Just because they were made in the same factory. So no it does not mean that it is a main ingrediant. Just that they were in the same facility and some particles may have flown into a product

I went to Target and bought a foundation brush (a very wide and flat version of an eyeshadow brush) and this seems to work. I also plan on trying makeup sponges.

You don't have to but as with the original and matte formulas, the veil does give it a 'setting power' and a beautiful finish. Also helps control the oil breakthrough if you have that issue. I wll say though that the Ready finish is beautiful with or without the veil. Try it, you'll be in love!

I would say stick to Mineral veil it just makes the skin look that much smoother. I think it will be too much to keep touching up with it. It will look cakey.
