Questions & Answers for bareMinerals Balance & Boost Beauty Duo

Question

I'm having trouble figuring out how it "automatically dispenses"?

I threw the box away without looking at the directions... I tried screwing the top part off, which just created a mess. Love the product... just hoping there's an easier way! Thanks!

Just turn the (closed!) compact upside-down, tap the bottom two or three times, turn right-side up, open lid - voila - a perfect measured amount.

You may already have figured this out by this point: close the lid, invert the container once, when it's upright again, open the top. Viola! The right amount is dispensed!

After peeling the seal off the mirror, close it. hold the container upside down for a few seconds. hold it right side up and open, it should have dispensed a bit of product. if you need more product then close the cap and hold it upside down again. hope this helps

Keep it closed and the lid on tight. Turn it over once. then turn it right side up and unscrew the top. You will see a small amount dispensed near the hinge.

Don't screw off the top, just flip the top up. Dispenses just a tiny amount, no mess at all.

ABSOLUETLY!!! I am in your same tone family! Initailly, I thought Mineral Veil would lighten the complexion of the foundation, but it does not. It gives your already fab makeup a finishing boost!! Try it. You will love it!

In the summer I get quite tan and use the Tinted Mineral Veil, but in the winter I am a medium skin tone (I wear Medium Beige foundation) and it's perfect for my winter skintone. The Translucent is a little too light and chalky for me, and this adds just a little warmth.

I wouldn't think it would be too dark for a lighter skin tone, but I do think it would be too light for a very deep skin tone.

Mineral Veil is meant for everyone. But with my friends, I always recommend the tinted mineral veil if you are in the tan-dark or deep family.
Technically the original mineral veil is "translucent" but you may be able to see a slight lightening after you put it on.

There is sunscreen. Mineral Veil and Warmth are different products. I use my Mineral veil way more than warmth! Although I like warmth, these two products do totally different things. Mineral Veil is a must have product!

The package does not list an SPF like the Mineral Veil 25 SPF does.

It is quite a bit lighter than the tinted version, closer to and just slightly warmer than the Translucent version. I am medium skin tone, and I find the Translucent to be just a little too light and chalky, and this is much better for my winter skintone.

There is a mineral veil with an SPF 25 but the original meneral veil does not have any SPF in it. If you go under makeup > finishing powder it is the first product on the second line saying SPF 25 Mineral Veil

Question

Can I use this product with the SPF 20 Ready foundation?

I have never tried the Ready foundation and I am about to place an order. I would like to know if the loose powder products can be used with the solid foundation.

Yes, the loose powders work fine. I've found you can mix & match any combination of the Ready (foundation, blush, ...) and loose powders (mineral veil, concealer, ...).
