I'm new too. This is what works for me: moisturizer-primer-foundation-all over color-blush-veil and eye cream-eye primer-shadow-veil when you wear all these products. I have very dry skin, a few shallow wrinkles (despite the fact that I'm 70), and usually wear everything when i wear any makeup. On no makeup days, I use just moisturizer.
Read some of the reviews and you'll see that some folks wear subsets, such as Prime Time Primer without additional eye color or moisturizer and All Over Color.
So far I've round it is easy to experiment, & fool around to try ideas out. If you can get to a BE Botiqur, you can get great advice & a chance to try various looks out.

I am 40 and have very sensitive, combination that tends towards breakouts, skin. I use an eye cream and night moisturizing cream (night creams are heavier) at night. On most days I wash my face, apply a day moisturizer with SPF in it (as a natural redhead, SPF is NOT optional), then I put a very light coat of foundation primer and eye primer (for special occassions I use a bit more foundation primer, but be careful because BE foundation primer can flake off if you use too much ofit and if you get into humid environments it can absorb the humidity and get slimy). Once I have the primer all ready, and it has had a chance to dry and set, I add my BE foundation and blush and mineral veil. Oh, a tip, when you apply the night cream and eye cream, make sure to get the cornersof your eye, where "crows feet" are trying to get started. In my experience, matte colored eye colors work best, I have had issues with pearl shades slipping into small creases and highlighting the creases! I use pearlized shades for parties and such, but not for all day, and put the eye primer above and below the eye and into the corners. Also, just before I apply my eye color I make sure to dust a tiny bit of extra mineral veil just below my eyes to help with sweeping away any"fallout"eye color or if I get a little smear of mascara on my cheek or something. The mineral veil helps a lot with this! I know that any extra dark color below my eye ends up looking like bags, and that is most unhelpful. LOL

Although I'm concerned more with covering acne scars and oiliness as compared with aging skin, I do the following order:
Cleanser, Moisturizer, Eye Cream, Blemish Treatment, Primers, Mineral Veil, Foundation, Concealer, Mineral Veil again, Bronzer/Blush, Eyes, Lips. If I forget something or do a different order, it doesn't last me as long! At night I use cleanser, moisturizer, blemish treatment, and then Night Treatment.

First off, you have to have a skincare routine in place. Otherwise, no matter how good the makeup is...it isn't treating all you want to fix with your skin. I'll share with you my order and you can modify as you see fit or as you are comfortable with.
1. Cleanse - BE Purifying Facial Cleanser
2. Moisturize Face - BE Purely Luminous Cream - Dry Skin ( you can use your own skincare products...I just prefer the BE brand)
3. Moisturize Eyes - BE Firming Eye Cream
Let all that dry and soak into the skin
4. Foundation Primer
5. BE Mineral Foundation - Golden Fair (my color)
6. BE Mineral Veil - Hydrating (dry skin) * sets makeup for all day wear, if need to touch up on foundation, use this to touch up.
7. BE Blush - color of choice
8. BE Eye Primer
9. BE Eye Colors - how many and how much is up to you, and the look you are achieving
10. BE Buxom Lip Polish or BE Lip Gloss - again, you can use your own products here...I just prefer the BE Brand.
That is my order...hope it helps you in your makeup endeavors. Let me know if you have any more questions. I'd be happy to help.
