This liner works great when applied to the bottom rim! The plum would be lovely on you, but try the Charcoal as well as I think that color works for everyone.

As an ophthalmic technician, you should never use ANY eyeliner on the inside rim of your lashes. Doing so you are clogging tiny glands on the ridge of your lid and are just asking for some sort of infection or irritation because you are putting a foreign body in your eye.

Yes but let it sit for a moment, and plum, green, gold, and blue are very complementary colors for hazel eyes especially if you want them to pop, for an everyday subtle pop I use golden brown shadow, but when I want to get compliments on my makeup blue and green is a must!

Plum would be great! I believe it will bring our your hazel eyes. For a night time look if you're going out, you can try the Foiled Eye color or you can try the Color Blocking technique. These looks and more can be found on this website! At the top of the page go to Shop and at the bottom of the box that comes up you will see "Can we help?". Below that, click on Find a Look. You will see "the rocker eye" at the right side of the page which is under the How To section. Click on Find Out How. On the next page on te right hand side you will see a huge list of looks to try! This website is like my own personal beauty consultant. It has helped me out tons! Good luck to you!

There's a small selection of colors for the Big and Bright eyeliner collection. I would try Plum or in the Pure Happiness Kit there is an Indigo mini eyeliner which is like a deep purple hue. You want to draw attention to your hazel eyes so I would suggest color that will bring it out.

Hazel eyes are usually complemented by green colors that reflect the green flecks in the iris...also hazel eyes work well with gold, pink, lavender, plum, khaki and mocha. Blue shades can dull the appearance of hazel eyes-be careful when choosing in this color family, go more for teals or other blues with a little green in them. Blondes and fair skinned women usually want lighter mascara as well, a dark brown is usually more complementary than a dark black which can wash you out and distract from your pretty eyes!

Plum will bring out the green in your eyes, midnight will bring out the brown in your eyes, chocolate or espresso will bring out the blue in your eyes. I have green eyes, wear the fair foundation, dark auburn hair and I love the plum. The midnight brings out brown tones in my eyes. The espresso brings out blue tones. The charcoal is a great alternative to black, if you find black to be too harsh.

Insider Eyeliner by Buxom is a Sephora Exclusive item. It's $14. I suggest the Teal Indigo, Metallic Teal and Evergreen.

The Big and Bright Eyeliner by BE has only 4 color selections, same cost as the Insider. I have big Black/Brown eyes too and it's hard trying to get our dark eyes to pop out the color that it has, so I can relate to you on that. When you sign up for BE and make your first purchase, you get a Big and Bright eyeliner for free. When I received it, I received the plum which is cool because I only had the Intense Black (which is probably discontinued because I see Charcoal listed instead of Intense Black).

The plum wasn't a "popping" plum color. When I say popping, I mean a noticeable color. This plum is more subtle and I haven't tried all the B&B Eyeliner colors, but plum seems to be nice. The Pure Happiness Kit has a mini Indigo eyeliner which is a deep purple color which I recently purchased and received yesterday. It's a lovely kit and for your skin tone and black/brown eyes would look great on you! But I noticed something that for years I didn't know and I feel SO dead last in the discovery lol.

Did you know at the bottom of the Big and Bright Eyeliner that there's a sharpener? You pop off the bottom of the Eyeliner and a tiny sharpener is there so you can get a nice even line to draw on your top/lower lash line. And the bottom of the Eyeliner also has a smudger brush so you can smudge the Eyeliner color to soften your look or to evenly distribute your color. I can't always make a perfect line with eyeliner so I like the smudger brush to smooth it out a little.

Hope this helps!

You have a lovely coloring that can take a wide range of colors and shades-lucky you!
You may find that lighter mascaras (browns or dark browns) don't do your dark eyes justice-try the darkest of blacks for a va-voom effect! A little eye liner can also help-but save the darkest of dark blacks for night time wear-try the sable colored eyeliner from Bare Minerals.

I've never used Charcoal. I have the Intense Black eyeliner and also the liner in the Plum color :-) On the end of the eyeliner, if you pop off the bottom piece of it, you will see a sharpener. If you remove the CAP part of the BOTTOM of the eyeliner, you will see a smudger brush. This should help you smooth out your eyeliner line so that it doesn't look as messy and can soften your look. Hope this helps!

It seems all the eye liners smear a bit- I have found that using a wet-apply technique keeps it from smudging-that and a steady hand!

Question

Just One?

There should be a set of eyeliners in much smaller versions. In the morning, I might choose the charcoal, or chocolate, or expresso. Then, if I am going out in the evening, I would choose a plum or granite shade to match my outfit. To buy all seven is first of all too expensive, and second they would last too long (in my case probably years). So make a set of 4-6 shades. Make them smaller with much more reasonable price.

I do agree. I have done a little research and looked up kits that have mini eyeliners. So if you want to create a different look, you can get the kit and have a mini version of whatever color the kit provides for you:

Spotlight On: Prime Time Primer Shadow Kit has a mini eyeliner color of Black Coffee (black/brown)

Spotlight On: Big & Bright Eyeliner Kit has Double-Ended Big & Bright Eyeliner in Slate and Black Iris (cool gray/deep violet)

If there were mini eyeliners, like 6 in a set for 8 bucks for example, that would be great :-)

Question

Like Ranaa, I'm wondering which eyeliner is best for me?

Like Ranaa, I am wondering which eyeliner I shoulder purchase: I have brown eyes, light brown hair, and a medium- tan complexion. I am 13 yrs old so I don't want something too dramatic, but something easy to apply too. Thanks a million :)
