Yes-illuminating MV is sparkly. Some people don't like it because of this. If you're unsure, get a sample or try it out at your local boutique.

The luminous mineral veil will give you the "sparkly look" but the original mineral veil should give you more of a matte finish.

It's 8-9 grams. If you want the deluxe size (24 grams)-QVC carries it on occasion.

9 g is for the large size. This is down a gram from their summer catalog. You may be able to get this size jar from Sephora they have an XL size jar.

You might find the super large pots of Mineral Veil from QVC or stores that sell BE such as Sephora, Macy's, etc. I have never seen that large of a size that we can buy directly from BE, you have to get it through one of their distributors.

I have oily skin and love the illuminating mineral veil. No more problem with oiliness than with the original, which is none! I even use the hydrating mineral veil in the winter because I have some dry patches.

I think it just might perform the trick you are looking for . . . I use the matte foundation and have very oily skin and I use the illuminating mineral veil . . . it makes my complexion look a bit dewy . . . but certainly not dry and does not make my complexion any oilier.

This could work well. it has a bit a of shimmer to it. Some people call it sparkly. You could also try to the hydrating mineral veil though that might just counteract the effects of the matte foundation.

Yes, the only Mineral Veil that will make your skin more oily is the Hydrating Mineral Veil. The Illuminating Mineral Veil works like the Original but has a touch of shimmer to it, so it gives the skin a more luminous, glowing look.

I have combination skin, so I do have those oily spots. I use the Matte finish foundation, and the illuminating mineral veil, and it adds that pop of glow to your skin without the oilyness. Also, if it is humid outside, or a really oily skin day, put a layer of mineral veil underneath your foundation, and it helps a ton!

it depends on what color you want your finish to be . . . the illuminating has a bit of a pink finish . . . and the tinted has more color to it.

I think it depends what kind of look you're going for. The illuminating MV is quite sparkly (too sparkly for my liking). If you want that type of look-go for illuminating. If you want a more natural look-go for the tinted.

I'm pretty new with BE, but I would go with the Illuminating version so your makeup will not appear as layers of color caked on. Also, Illuminating will most likely help in the bright, summer glow! I hope I helped! :]

You can really use any brush that works for your specific needs. Very little mineral veil is required to get that airbrushed look. if you want just a light dusting, use the flawless application face brush. if you fell you need a full coverage of veil, use a fuller brush like the full flawless or handy buki. :)

I use the Soft Focus brush when I apply mineral veil. You could also use the flawless application brush as well, but the Soft Focus is my choice. There are many options, but I really like this brush because it is super soft and makes applying mineral veil very easy.
