What I do is clean my face first. Then I use a scented or non scented lotion to give my skin softness and not look so dry. A small amount will do. Or, you can use the skin rev-er upper. I apply my matte foundation since I have combination skin and I proceed to use the blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mineral veil to lock in my look and then lip color. Now, the warmth is part of the 3 colors involved with the Soft Focus All Over Face Color and they are designed to give your skin a hint of color to it for a radiant, flawless look. The new READY bronzer helps bring a glow to your skin in areas where the sun would hit (cheekbones, forehead, Nose and chin). For me bronzer would only make me shinier because I'm Golden Dark. Since my skin already has a natural hue of "glow" to it, the bronzer may actually make my skin look oily and I have combination skin. So I use the warmth to soften my look and make it more of a natural finish.
