What angle should the brush be at for application?

Should the pointed side be down, up, at an angle, etc?

When I use it to apply blush, I use it with pointed side up.

For the Angled Blush Brush, the TIP of the brush starts at the apple of your cheek and your apply the color from the cheek bone towards the temple. This is a great brush and you won't need much to see color appear on your cheeks. I'm Golden Dark and the blush I use shows after just one application. To find the "apples" of your cheeks, smile. The part that raises up are the "apples" of your cheeks. Also look for tutorials on this website or on YouTube for tips, hints and tricks of the trade.
