I like using medium coverage and work my way up with my Handy Buki Brush. I use concealer first using the Maximum Concealer brush and then I do my STB (swirl tap buff) with foundation with my Handy Buki Brush. I use a Heavenly Blush Brush for my blush and for home, I use a Soft Focus all over face brush for mineral veil and on the go, I like to use my Buff-Go Brush or for a weekender.

I find that the kabuki brush really does give great coverage - I prefer the baby buki based on my facial structure, but a kabuki brush in general will give good coverage because it is very dense. To most effectively reduce the redness of acne, I would try preconcealing using the full coverage concealer brush with a powder in a shade lighter than that of your foundation. For my medium skin tone the Well Rested seems to work well, but there are also multiple shades of Bisque available too.
