If you want to bring out the green in your eyes you should use colors with more of a pink base or orange based tans. If you want to highlight the hazel more then you could use plum colors.

Well, browns, plums or pinks with a hint of gold seem to work for me for shadow. Then for liner, blue-gray or blue seems to work, though brown can be nice too.

Purple is the traditional *pop* color for green eyes. I have found with my medium skintone (Fairly Medium foundation) and brunette hair, dark green on the lid, light green on the arch, and accented in gold is a great not-as-dramatic look for daytime. Purples are more of an evening color, in my humble opinion, so I tend to go lighter, softer colors at work and such.

If you use a light purple all over your lid and a darker purple around the outside corner, it really makes the green pop!

Orange based tans or light champagne colors would work really well but also taupe or grays would bring out the blue nicely too.

I have blue eyes also. Recently I've been using lots of browns and golds. They look amazing. I go with an almost nude color for all over and a shimmery brown for the crease. Looks fantastic.
